Friends of Cardington is a new organization formed to develop activities for our community! We are currently planning for the Heritage Festival for next summer, in the meantime we are co-hosting a Halloween Party with the American Legion Post 97 to be held October 29 6-8pm. All ages welcome and its FREE! Refreshments,games, costume contests, a DJ and featuring local band "Atlantic Drive", a band composed recent CLHS alumni! Come join the fun! Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month 6:30pm in council chambers of the municipal building! Public welcome and encourage to attend and become involved! We are also looking to form a youth advisory board so if you know of any C-L students, please encourage them to join!!

I went to Cardington in the mid 60's, 4th-6th grade. I'd love to find one of my classmates...Kathy Bean. I would also like to know the whereabouts of Carmen Crum ; we rode the same bus. I lost track of most of my Cardington friends after moving to River Valley....Love to hear from you :)

The tornadoes start on June 11, the one that hit main street went through on June 13, 1981.

Wow, my daughter is doing a report on the June 1981 tornado that went through Cardington. Been finding alot of stuff but the dates are between June 11-13 when it hit anyone know for sure what the date was?

Was living at 305 N. Marion in 1981 when the tornado trashed what was once a very quaint, Mid-West country town.
Those were some good times spent with good people.

I have lived in Cardington for 10 years now and in the 7th grade in Donna Kill's class. I am currently 13 years old and enjoy singing, dancing, and writing newspapers and books for my family. I am also in choir and hope to become a singer or metorologist when I grow up.

My grandmother, Grace Mateer, lived on a farm outside Cardington. She used to take me to Al's before and after it burned. Great memories of Cardington, Ohio!

Lived in Cardington from 61 to 68 moved a year before my beloved class of 69. would love to hear from anyone from class of 1969. what a town loved it have alot of fun their.

Im doing a science project on the tornado that hit Cardington in june of 1981 .Im looking for informaton on to cast of rebuilding after the tornado .

I actually found this site by accident. I would love to get into contact with people who graduated in 1993. We're getting ready for our 15 year reunion coming up in August and there are still quite a few people that we can't find. When will Cardington High schools Class of 1958 50 th reunion take place and where. I attended school in that class until the sixth grade.

I lived in Cardington from 1980-1986, and again in the early 90's. I have a lot of GREAT memories growing up there! I get back now and again to visit family and friends.

Hello Cardington! I grew up in Cardington and graduated in 1987. I miss living there very much. The big city isn't all it's cracked up to be! My husband and I say we will move to Cardington if we ever lose our jobs here in Dayton!!
